How to Care for Snapback Caps: Denim, Suede & Embroidered
Caring for your snapback the right way keeps its structured shape and colors looking good for longer: clean it gently according to the material, let it air-dry in the shade and store it somewhere dry and well ventilated.
General rules
- No machine washing and no wringing: the cap can easily lose its shape and the brim can crack.
- Clean stains as soon as possible.
- Air-dry in a well-ventilated spot, away from harsh sun and hot dryers.
- Store the cap in a box or hang it up, and never put heavy things on top of the crown.
Caring for a denim snapback
- Use a soft brush to remove dust, brushing along the grain of the fabric.
- Small stains: dab with a damp cloth and a little diluted soap, then wipe gently.
- Wipe again with a clean damp cloth, and stuff a dry towel inside the cap to hold its shape while it dries.
Applies to the X3 denim snapback.
Caring for a suede snapback
- Use a soft-bristle suede brush and brush gently in one direction to lift the nap.
- Avoid getting it very wet; if it does get wet, blot it dry with a towel and let it air-dry naturally.
- Dry dirt: brush it off gently or use a suede eraser.
Applies to the Under suede snapback.
Caring for a white embroidered snapback
- Wipe stains on the white fabric with a damp cloth and diluted soap, without scrubbing hard on the embroidery.
- Don't use strong bleach: it can fade the colored embroidery thread.
- Dry it in the shade so the white fabric doesn't turn yellow.
Applies to the white embroidered SW003.

Frequently asked questions
Should I wash my snapback in the washing machine?
Better not. A washing machine can easily crack the brim and ruin the cap's shape; clean it by hand according to the material instead.
How do I store my cap so it doesn't get crushed?
Keep it in the fullbox it came with or hang it on a hook, and stuff soft paper inside the cap if you're storing it for a long time.
